Hours:
(3) 8am - 5pm
(2) 12pm - 9pm
Some Saturdays 9am - 5pm
1 hour for lunch is required
Purpose:
To be directly responsible and accountable for producing
committed scheduled appointments between customers and dealership
managers/salespeople to achieve departmental gross profit and performance
standards through dedicated specialized telephone activity enhancing C.S.I. and
sales volumes.
Job Duties
- Respond to customers emails in a timely
fashion
- Update and purify customer records
- Be a goodwill ambassador for Hoselton by courteous treatment
of all customers and employees.

- Review and practice telephone scripts
- Complete the schedule of activities required to communicate
with each on-line vehicle inquiry.
- Keep abreast of current incentives, promotions, and product
knowledge on a daily basis.

Sales Consultant (Traditional)
The Hoselton Auto Mall offers sales consultants a unique opportunity to sell from a primary showroom, but also to cross-sell from four new vehicles franchises (Chevrolet, Toyota, Scion, and Nissan) and a used vehicle inventory of over 150 vehicles. All of this is available within walking distance on 17 acres at the corner of Fairport (31F) and Marsh roads in East Rochester.
Hoselton sales consultants are eligible for a three-tiered compensation plan based on annual sales volume. The plans include salary, vehicle commission, F&I commission, monthly volume bonus, demo allowance, and a year-end bonus. Our top sales consultants also receive an annual personal advertising allowance to promote themselves in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
- Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom or on road.
- Suggest optional equipment for customer to purchase.
- Compute and quote sales price (including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discounts) and requirements for financing payment of vehicle on credit.
- Demonstrate the ability to negotiate and be capable of addressing customer hesitation.
- Arrange for delivery and registration of vehicle.
- Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc and their benefits to customers.
- Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to customers the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations.
- Ability, along with the Sales Manager, to set personal sales goals and follow a method to achieve those objectives through training and consultations.

- Solid people and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics and a thorough understanding of prices, models, series, options, and other variations of the selling manufacturers' products, as well as competitive products and prices.
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Mandatory drug test and license background test.
- Computer knowledge preferred.
Sales Consultant (Internet)
An internet based automotive Sales Consultant sells new or used automobiles, trucks, and vans online! The salesperson is directly responsible for selling vehicles at customer satisfaction standards. Greets customer by phone, e-mail and in person and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired. Sales Consultant will directly receive website leads.
